I've managed to get over the worst bit, and that's the most important thing. To say that I was scared about the flight is a slight understatement. To say that I was panicking about the trip, again, is a slight understatement. I must hold the world record for the number of times I checked my tickets, passport and driving licence, and an all time record for the length of time to pack for the journey. Seven days, near enough, from start to finish.

The day started uneventfully enough with breakfast. Soon check out time arrived, and I made my way down to the reception to pay my bill. The shuttle bus offered to take me down then, but I declined thinking that 11 till 3 would be too much. I took the shuttle at 12 and got there for just after 12:30 - I chanced it and checked in. I arrived at Boston's Logan Airport safely enough - as you probably worked out from the fact I told you I was about to land. It was then let us loose, and don't tell the passengers where to collect the luggage time... OK, there are 4 carrousels split over opposite ends of the terminal. And the one all the passengers chose was not the correct one - as someone came over the tannoy to tell us very helpfully half an hour later. Grrr.
